Product Details

Product Overview

The LEBON Dry No.4 & HL Grinding Machine Line is designed for dry surface grinding and brushing of stainless steel sheets, plates and coils. It uses high-speed abrasive belts or brushing rollers to produce uniform No.4 satin brushed finish and HL / Hairline finish without using water, coolant or grinding liquid.

This dry-type finishing line is suitable for customers who require simple operation, clean production layout and no wastewater treatment. It can be equipped with a dust collection system to remove grinding dust during processing and help maintain a cleaner working environment.

With stable material feeding, adjustable grinding pressure, variable speed control and accurate belt tracking, the machine helps achieve straight grain direction, consistent surface texture and reliable finishing quality. Optional cleaning, dust removal and protective film laminating systems can be added according to customer requirements.

The line is widely used for decorative stainless steel sheets, elevator panels, home appliance panels, kitchen equipment, architectural wall panels, stainless steel doors and high-end interior metal surface finishing applications.

What is Dry No.4 & HL Grinding Machine Line?

A Dry No.4 & HL Grinding Machine Line is a stainless steel surface finishing line that uses abrasive belts or brushing rollers to create No.4 brushed finish and Hairline finish through a dry processing method. Compared with wet grinding, the dry line has a simpler structure, easier operation and no wastewater treatment requirement. It can be equipped with a dust collection system to remove grinding dust during production.

Key features

Working Process

1. Material Feeding

The stainless steel sheet, plate or coil is fed into the grinding line through the conveyor system. Stable feeding keeps the material flat and ensures straight surface grain direction.

2. Surface Pre-Grinding

High-speed abrasive belts lightly grind the stainless steel surface to remove minor scratches, oxide marks and surface defects. This step prepares the material for No.4 or HL finishing.

3. Dry No.4 Brushing

For No.4 finish, abrasive belts create a fine, uniform satin brushed texture on the stainless steel surface. Belt grit, grinding pressure and feeding speed can be adjusted according to the required No.4 effect.

4. Dry HL / Hairline Finishing

For HL finish, the machine creates long, straight and continuous Hairline lines. The final HL texture is controlled by abrasive belt selection, belt tracking accuracy, pressure and conveyor speed.

5. Dust Collection

Because the process is dry, grinding dust is removed by the dust collection system. This helps keep the working environment cleaner and reduces dust contamination on the finished surface.

6. Surface Cleaning

After grinding and brushing, the surface is cleaned to remove remaining dust, abrasive particles and metal residue.

7. Protective Film Laminating

If required, a protective film is applied to the finished No.4 or HL surface to prevent scratches during handling, cutting, transportation and further processing.

8. Finished Surface Output

The final stainless steel surface has a uniform No.4 satin finish or long straight HL finish, suitable for decorative panels, elevator interiors, appliance panels and architectural applications.
