Vibration Grinding

Vibration grinding is a metal surface finishing process used to create a random, non-directional decorative texture on stainless steel sheets and plates. Unlike No.4 or Hairline finishes, which have straight brushing lines, vibration grinding produces a swirl-like, cloud-like or random scratch pattern, giving the metal surface a unique modern appearance.

Product Description

LEBON Vibration Grinding Machine is designed for stainless steel decorative surface finishing. The machine uses abrasive pads or grinding heads with controlled vibration movement to create a uniform random pattern on the sheet surface. The final finish is decorative, non-directional and suitable for high-end metal surface applications.

Key Features

  • Produces random vibration pattern finish

  • Non-directional surface texture

  • Suitable for stainless steel sheets and plates

  • Controlled vibration grinding movement

  • Adjustable grinding pressure

  • Variable conveyor speed

  • Uniform decorative pattern distribution

  • Helps reduce visibility of minor scratches

  • Optional cleaning and drying system

  • Optional protective film laminating

  • PLC and inverter control system

  • Customizable working width and machine layout

Working Process

1. Material Feeding

The stainless steel sheet or plate is fed into the machine through the conveyor system. Stable feeding keeps the material flat and ensures consistent surface processing.

2. Surface Pre-Treatment

Before vibration grinding, the surface can be cleaned or lightly ground to remove dust, oil stains, oxide marks and minor surface defects.

3. Vibration Grinding

The abrasive grinding head or grinding pad contacts the stainless steel surface and moves with controlled vibration or circular motion. This creates a random, non-directional vibration pattern on the metal surface.

4. Pattern Control

The vibration effect can be adjusted by grinding pressure, abrasive type, vibration movement and conveyor speed. These settings control the pattern density, texture depth and final decorative appearance.

5. Surface Cleaning

After grinding, the surface is cleaned to remove abrasive dust, metal particles and grinding residue.

6. Drying Section

The cleaned sheet passes through the drying section to remove moisture and prevent water marks or surface contamination.

7. Protective Film Laminating

If required, a protective film is applied to the finished vibration surface to prevent scratches during handling, cutting, transportation and installation.

8. Finished Vibration Surface

The final stainless steel surface has a random, swirl-like or cloud-like vibration texture, suitable for decorative sheets, elevator panels, architectural panels and high-end interior applications.
