A Sheet-to-Sheet No.4 Finished Grinding Line is a surface finishing production line used to process individual metal sheets, especially stainless steel sheets, one by one. It uses abrasive belt grinding and brushing technology to create a uniform No.4 satin brushed finish on the sheet surface.
Unlike a coil-to-coil line, this machine is designed for cut sheets, not continuous coils. The sheet is fed into the line, ground and brushed by abrasive belts, then cleaned, dried and optionally covered with protective film.

Individual stainless steel sheets are placed on the feeding table and automatically conveyed into the grinding line. Stable feeding helps ensure smooth processing and straight grain direction.
The sheet surface is processed by high-speed abrasive belts to remove minor scratches, oxide marks and surface defects. This step prepares the surface for a uniform No.4 finish.
The abrasive belt creates a fine and consistent No.4 satin brushed texture on the stainless steel surface. Grinding pressure, belt grit and feeding speed can be adjusted according to the required finish.
After grinding and brushing, the sheet surface is cleaned to remove grinding dust, oil, abrasive residue and metal particles.
The cleaned sheet passes through the drying section to remove moisture and prevent water marks on the finished surface.
If required, a protective film is applied to the finished No.4 surface to prevent scratches during handling, cutting, transportation and further processing.
The finished stainless steel sheet is discharged from the line with a uniform No.4 satin brushed surface, ready for inspection, packaging or further production.
