The LEBON SB Grinding Machine is a professional stainless steel surface finishing machine used for Scotch Brite surface treatment. Compared with ordinary abrasive belt grinding, SB grinding creates a softer, finer and more uniform matte surface, making it suitable for decorative stainless steel sheets, elevator panels, appliance panels and architectural metal products.

Working Process

1. Material Feeding

The stainless steel sheet or plate is fed into the SB grinding machine through the conveyor system. Stable feeding keeps the material flat and ensures consistent surface processing.

2. Surface Pre-Treatment

Before SB grinding, the surface can be cleaned or lightly pre-ground to remove dust, oil stains, minor scratches, oxide marks and surface defects.

3. SB / Scotch Brite Grinding

The non-woven Scotch Brite roller or grinding unit contacts the stainless steel surface to create a soft, smooth and uniform matte satin texture.

4. Pressure and Speed Adjustment

Grinding pressure and conveyor speed are adjusted according to sheet thickness, material condition and required SB surface effect. Proper adjustment helps ensure uniform texture and stable surface quality.

5. Dust Collection or Wet Cooling

For dry-type SB grinding, the dust collection system removes grinding dust and abrasive particles. For wet-type processing, coolant or grinding liquid helps reduce heat and improve surface smoothness.

6. Surface Cleaning

After grinding, the surface is cleaned to remove dust, abrasive residue, metal particles and surface contamination.

7. Drying Section

If wet processing or cleaning is used, the drying unit removes moisture from the sheet surface to prevent water marks.

8. Protective Film Laminating

If required, protective film is applied to the finished SB surface to prevent scratches during handling, cutting, transportation and further processing.

9. Finished SB Surface Output

The finished stainless steel sheet has a soft, uniform and matte Scotch Brite surface, suitable for decorative stainless steel, elevator panels, appliance panels and architectural applications.
