LEBON MACHINERY No.4 Belt Brushing & Grinding Machine is a professional stainless steel surface finishing machine used to produce a uniform fine brushed No.4 satin finish on sheets, plates and coils. Working Process

Feeding Section

The stainless steel sheet, plate or coil is fed into the machine through the conveyor system. Stable feeding ensures the material enters the grinding section smoothly and keeps the brushing direction straight and consistent.

Belt Grinding Section

The stainless steel surface is processed by high-speed abrasive belts. This section removes minor scratches, oxide marks and surface defects, while improving surface flatness and preparing the material for No.4 brushing.

No.4 Brushing Section

The abrasive belt creates a fine and uniform satin grain on the stainless steel surface. By adjusting belt grit, grinding pressure and feeding speed, the machine can produce a stable No.4 brushed finish with consistent line direction.

Grinding Liquid or Dust Control System

For wet-type machines, grinding liquid or coolant is supplied to reduce heat, control dust and prevent burning marks. For dry-type machines, a dust collection system can be added to keep the working environment cleaner.

Filtration and Recycling System

For wet grinding, used grinding liquid is collected, filtered and recycled for reuse. This helps reduce waste, lower operating cost and maintain stable grinding quality during continuous production.

Cleaning and Drying Section

After grinding and brushing, the stainless steel surface is cleaned to remove grinding residue, oil, dust and metal particles. The drying unit then removes moisture to prevent water marks and keep the surface clean.

Film Laminating Section

A protective film can be applied to the finished No.4 brushed surface. This protects the stainless steel surface from scratches during handling, cutting, transportation and further processing.

Finished No.4 Surface

After processing, the stainless steel material has a uniform fine brushed satin finish, suitable for elevator panels, kitchen equipment, home appliances, decorative sheets and architectural applications.
